A change is coming for Stand-Up cinema

Stand-Up Cinema returns next month with a new purpose - and new opportunities for local filmmakers.

We've enjoyed showing classic movies and hidden gems over the years. But with 2019 comes a change of emphasis into the works of local filmmakers and artists. The first of these quarterly events is on Friday 15th March, when we'll be holding an evening of experimental documentary shorts.

Submissions are invited which must be under 3 minutes. Comment pieces, visual essays, awareness raising - anything goes. Contact Real Time Video oninfo@real-time.org.uk if you are interested in showing your film.

Our Stand-Up Cinema evenings will continue to be free entry, letting new auteurs get their work out to a wider audience.
