Tribute Night: Elton John

Free admissions - donations during interval (card or cash) (as long as the card reader is working) (and as long as I can find a hat)
For the 2023 autumn edition of Tribute Night, we are pulling out the big guns and going about as blockbuster mainstream as it goes!
Elton is an enduring musical phenomenon. Emerging as an introspective singer-songwriter in the late 1960s, he went on to demonstrate an extraordinary versatility over the ensuing decades, encompassing rock, soul, disco, country, and even musical theatre, all accompanied by his flamboyant stagecraft and effortless melodic skill. Elton is an international diva superstar whose songs have become pop standards.
The night is now at capacity in terms of people performing on the night (not in terms of audience!), but it is possible that space will become available nearer the time, so if you would like to do a song, please send an email to Zac at TributeNight@hotmail.co.uk to go on the reserve list.
If you are a singer or musician and you want to be involved, but you don’t know other people to play with, email me and I’ll have a go at matching you up with others.
As usual, there is no admission fee, but donations will be collected during the interval - cash or card - suggested donation £5. All donations go to the Rising Sun Arts Centre, which is a registered charity funded mostly by its own earned income.
Doors open at 8pm for a prompt 8:30pm start.
