Hi Everyone

Unfrotunately folks, time is not exactly on the side of I, your humble narrator, this week.  Due to something called insomnia and people on the radio droning on about Froch v Groves there is slightly greater urgency than usual to get some shut-eye

On Friday, we bring you CLUB VELOCITY

Your first dose of top-notch live bands this weekend!  The May episode of Club Velocity looks just so...

THE ULTIMATE END
Everyone's' fave local disco biscuit munching nu sassy punks. Fabulous.

FLASH BANG BAND
From that Brighton.  It's their first ever show in Reading, and there's three of them.  It's woprth pointing out that a lot of the best bands are three pieces-Nirvana/The Jam/Midway Still/5:30/Hendrix/S*M*A*S*H/

Bendy indie pop from the bygone age when indie was a dirty word.  Long before it was sold in Top Shop.  John Kennedy is a fan-Fierce Panda/Club Fandango are fans and so are that Ultrasound.

THE PINK DIAMOND REVUE
Are the best kept secret in all of RG1.More people should be aware of them. They are creating something a little different.  Think of Renegade Soundwave/BAD/Suicide. Really tasty, musical ear fodder.

We're open at 8pm, and it'll cost you £5 on the door or £4 in advance from www.wegottickets.co.uk

(Please note that this gig is for ages 16 and over)

Then Saturday, plucky little England will sneak a surprise win against the mighty Peru, Froch and Groves will chicken out of their rematch by claiming to have a cold and we also happen to be bringing you BANDORAMA

The May instalment of Bandorama, and it looks just so...

FELLA
The powers that be at Bandorama have been trying to book these chaps for ages.  Great ska-indie-punk.Now with Simon Clark (ex of To The Barricades) on guitar.

BLANK BIBLES
They number six and hail from THAT London.Hang on-three of them are also in your fave Nu Folk Punks Bear And The Woods.  BB deal in some of the sexy/clever jingly jangyly indie POP that we have heard for many a day.Fab.They even have guitar solos!!

SISTER RAY

Three new pups on the street, who looking for lampposts to mark as their territory.

Let's hope they are named after our fave old record London shop.

We're open at 8pm.  and it'll cost you £5 on the door or £4 in advance from www.wegottickets.co.uk

(Please note that this gig is for ages 16 and over)

That's everything for another weekend, just to remind you that you can find us at 30 Silver Street, Reading, RG1 2ST  (If you put us in your Google or Sat Nav, we shall magically appear)
