Hi Everyone
September is over before we even realised it begun. The nights are drawing in, the rain is getting colder, Matalan are getting ready to decorate their Christmas tree and apparently some show called the X Factor has returned to the nation’s TV screens…
However, it’s not all doom, gloom and celebrities dancing badly. We just happen to have another fantastic line-up at the Rising Sun this weekend
Friday sees the return of CLUB VELOCITY
Another fine selection of beat combos for the enjoyment of us all courtesy of Velocity HQ and it looks just so:-
MARK MORRISS
Mark Morriss is a singer songwriter who famously made his name fronting English indie outfit The Bluetones. Mark fronted the four piece over a successful and fruitful 15year period, scoring 14 top ten singles and 3 top ten albums, whilst touring the UK, Europe and Japan. At the back end of 2011 the decision was made to disband The Bluetones, resulting in a shock farewell tour. Hordes of loyal Bluetones fans turned out in their thousands to give the band they called their own, a fond and sad farewell.
Although The Bluetones are now touring again, Mark has continued the solo career that started back in 2008.
Mark is soon to be hard at work in the studio recording his new studio album and is aiming for an April 2017 release date. The album will be presented on CD and Digital. Limited edition signed copies will also be available. There will also be the opportunity for exclusive ‘Listening Parties’, VIP Meet & Greets and much more.
From now until the album release date, Mark will keep you updated with the album’s progress and news from his world through the updates section here once you have placed your order.
Get involved and be a part of this special journey with Mark!
