Hi Everyone

Easter weekend arrives at Rising Sun HQ.  I guess that might be why it's started raining again and why Hendryx J has started writing a "song" called "Do All The Little Bunny Rabbits Know It's Easter Time At All... maaaan!".   Anyhow, be not afraid, stop fretting about where you're going to find an easter egg (I'm told they get a little cheaper on Sunday afternoon) and have a little look at we have in store this weekend

Just the one event this weekend, on Friday, we bring you CLUB VELOCITY

JEN BIRD
A lot of people talking about this new(ish) singer songwriter.  Based in Reading and causing stirs.

Welcome her with open arms.Huge talent alert.
Simon (Burnt Tomorrow) also features on accoustic guitar.

ED LOFSTEDT
Firm Club Velocity fave/hero.  He moved to London, then went travelling and now
residing in some place called Bristol.

"Ed Lofstedt is one of Berkshire's hottest singer song writers, he has a back catalogue of songs that most musicians would kill for. Sounding like a young Billy Bragg, we love him and so will you." so say BBC Introducing

MATT STOCKL
Matt Stockl is an unsigned singer-songwriter type from the Scottish highlands, currently based in Windsor. He plays folk-leaning acoustic music and cheats on demos by adding electronic elements. Matt has gigged regularly since 2006 from London to the north coast of Scotland and released several EPs recorded in various living rooms, bedrooms and kitchens. Lately his music has been featured on both BBC introducing and BBC6 music.

THE VANITY PROJECKT
Al Murray is a HUGE fan.

That’s everything for another week, just to remind you that we are, as always, at 30 Silver Street, Reading, RG1 2ST (If you pop it into your satnav or Google, we shall magically appear!)

Have a nice weekend!
