Hi Everyone

If you're reading this on a Thursday evening and still haven't bought your Mum a card, just remember you've got about 24 hours to get that done..  Go on... do it  (or you'll never hear the end of it)

Now... I was planning a long pre-amble about this week's exciting cornucopia of all things Rising Sun related, but after some consideration/faffing about, I felt it might be better to let this weekend's events speak for themselves...

Friday evening sees a UGANDA FUNDRAISER

A charity gig night for International Citizen Service as part of a fundraising project to volunteer in Uganda.

A mixture of Classic Hits, Indie Rock and Acoustic sets featuring THE SUBTITLES, REGGIE INSTON, and ALICE GROUT

A light-hearted evening with fun for all. Come along and show your support.

We're open at 8pm and it'll cost you £6 on the door or £6 in advance from  We Got Tickets https://www.wegottickets.com/event/392654

And finally, Saturday evening and we bring you FIESTA LATINA

A fun and sociable dance night featuring a mix of Latin dances from tango to meringue, salsa to bachata and all the stops in between (La Rueda is a speciality). Very friendly evening in somewhere that could have been lifted straight out of Cuba. Come and enjoy some hot Latin rhythms.

We'll be open at 9pm and it'll cost you a paltry £6 on the door to get in

(Unfortunately due to unforesen circumstances this weekend's YELLOW TEAPOT CAFE has had to be cancelled)

That’s everything for another week, just to remind you that we are, as always, at 30 Silver Street, Reading, RG1 2ST (If you pop it into your satnav or Google, we shall magically appear!)
