The Reading Cultural Awards are coming...

...and we’ve been nominated in four categories this year – thank you!
The second annual Reading Cultural Awards will soon be upon us, celebrating the best of arts and culture across our fair town throughout 2017.
Nominations are now open, and we’re very pleased to say that we’ve been nominated in the following categories already:
- Cultural Space of the Year (for the centre itself and everything that happens within her)
- Cultural Organisation of the Year (for our wonderful staff and volunteers that make things happen)
- Festival of the Year (for Here Comes The Sun)
- Partnership of the Year (for the River of Creativity, which included a performance from young people as part of their National Citizenship Service, singing from pupils of Alder Bridge Steiner Waldorf School, dance co-ordinated by Reside Dance Company, poetry from the My Word Poets and a short theatre piece from Thee O Company)
Needless to say, we’re very flattered and grateful for the nominations – and if you would like to add your voice to those who’ve nominated us already (in these or any other category you think is apt), head over to readingplaceofculture.org/awards/.
