New ways to support the Rising Sun

Damien's picture

You can now donate to the centre while picking up an ale at the Grumpy Goat.

As we’re sure you all know, the Rising Sun Arts Centre is a registered charity, staffed by volunteers and almost entirely self-funded by our events. You may also have seen the PayPal link on our homepage that lets you donate a little something extra to help keep the centre running, too.

But now there’s another way you can help support us. Reading ale-and-cheese shop The Grumpy Goat has a tin on the counter helping to raise money for the centre. If you’ve not been in the shop, The Grumpy Goat specialises in real ales and craft beers (including some of the same West Berkshire Brewery beers we serve behind the bar), as well as handmade, award-winning cheeses. They like to support local artisans, and we’re honoured that they’re helping to support us, too.

You can find The Grumpy Goat Beer & Cheese Shop in the Harris Arcade, Reading, RG1 1DN.
