The nights are drawing in, the weather’s getting a bit greyer… but our September-December programme is here to shine like a literal rising sun over the next few months. It’s chock full of special events, seasonal spectaculars and all the regular nights and workshops you know and love.

Physical copies are available soon, and you can view it online right now. And if you want some highlights, we’ve hand-picked a few key events over the next few months:

September Stand Up Cinema returns on Friday 15th, we’ve a special Art Exhibition from the Step Up group on Saturday 23rd, and Club Velocity will host a couple of big names – Dick Valentine of Electric 6 on Sunday 17th, and Mark Morris of The Bluetones on Friday 29th.

October – Friday 6th sees local heroes Palm Honey present An Improvised Exploratory Psychedelic Jam, tango troubadour Martin Alvarado returns on Thursday 26th, and we’ll be hosting a special exhibition in association with Reading International – ‘How a Black Void Replaces the White Cube and a Painting Moves from the Fine to the Performing Arts’ opens on Saturday 7th and runs until November 11th.

November – Fans of prog/folk will have plenty to enjoy on Saturday 11th with the Kindred Spirit Band, get on your vintage clobber while we get out our best china for the annual Vintage Tea Dance on Sunday 12th, and we’ll be jammin’ with the Bob Marley Tribute Night on Friday 3rd.

December – Experience a unique blend of music hall, Americana, folk tradition and jazz with the Green Rock River Band on Friday 15th, and shop for a special something at our Christmas Art Market on Sunday 3rd. And speaking of Christmas – Big Untidy and Tribute Night will both be offering festive editions on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th respectively.
