Here Comes the Sun... 2026!!!!

The sun shone bright on Silver Street for another year of Here Comes the Sun Festival. Here is a note from the organisers... Alex and Rob:

Saturday was such an amazing day. It's worth remembering all the contributions that people made
The bar staff
The caterers
The cake maker's
The people on the door
The performers
The tech staff
The face painters and badge makers
Those who provided bunting and other equipment
The cleaners, tidier uppers, setter uppers and general helpers
Those who have worked so hard on the improvements to the centre in the last few months
The photographers and videoers
The marketing team
The shoppers
The house managers
The people who organised the festival in the past and found documents we needed down the back of sofas
The rota maintainers
And anyone else we may have forgotten.

A huge thank you to you all, you should be proud of yourselves.

We don't have the full figures yet but we estimate we made about £3,500.
Bar sales were £2983, online ticket sales £1145. To that we need to add sales from food,  people paying on the door and income from the sale of badges and then deduct our costs.

And whilst it's all still fresh in your minds let us know your thoughts and initial impressions. We are always looking for ways we can improve these events.

Thanks again
.
