Happy Birthday to us - let's party!

We’re throwing one heck of a birthday party to celebrate 25 years of bringing arts and culture to the people of Reading – and you’re all invited!

It’s been a truly phenomenal anniversary year. The centre has undergone a major renovation, put on some fantastic events both at home and in Reading town centre, and been recognised with the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the highest award given to local volunteer groups across the UK to recognise outstanding work in their communities.

So, after all that, we thought we’d cap off our 25th birthday year with a 25th birthday party on Saturday 12th November starting at 7pm. There’ll be musical entertainment with volunteers taking turns behind the DJ decks so everyone can have a boogie, and some traditional party games to really get the fun going. There’ll be food, drink from our volunteer-run bar plus a bit of bubbly for everyone as they arrive. And cake – plenty of birthday cake!

The night promises to be a fantastic chance for friends, volunteers and supporters of the centre to enjoy themselves and celebrate everything the centre has achieved, both this year and in the previous 24! So arrive early to guarantee entry as we’re expecting the place to get quite packed!
