Things get a little alternative on Friday 8th December for the Big Untidy Dark Christmas Special. For those of you who find Christmas all-too jolly, we’ve got punk from Order #227, the festively named Disappointment Choir and more. Entry - £3.

Saturday 9th December brings us the Tribute Night Christmas Special, featuring your favourite Tribute Night regulars and newcomers alike covering Christmas classics and lesser-known yuletide tunes. Entry – donation during the interval.

Fast-forward a week and it’s the Club Velocity Christmas Knees-Up on Saturday 16th December, featuring local legend Ben Marwood, supported by Non Canon and Band of Hope. Free mince pies, festive cheer and Graham is threatening to dress up as an Elf. Entry - £8 in advance.

And is there anything more Christmassy than a panto? Oh no there isn’t! So this year’s production from the MoveUp Group and Zap Comedy is The Wizard of Oz on Tuesday 19th December. Followed by a disco and possibly a visit from Santa. Anything (and I mean anything) is possible. Free entry.

And finally, bring in the New Year with the annual Club Velocity New Year’s Eve party.
