If you’re involved in the arts and want to grow your artform through Employment or Employability, the Rising Sun Arts Centre will be playing host to a new workshop from the good people at Thames Valley Arts Business Collision.

On Thursday, 27th August, We’ll be the first stop on this whirlwind tour from TVABC, who will be presenting a 2 hour practical workshop invaluable to aspiring and established artists of all genres (arts, performers, crafts, designers, dressmakers, bakers, digital, poets, jewellers et al) operating as sole traders, companies or arts organisations and are looking to grow.

The workshop is a mix of presentation, tutorials and one to one discussions. It also aims to be a very collaborative affair, so if you have knowledge to offer around the topics and would like to be introduced as an advisor please let TVABC know your area of expertise.

Key topics to be discussed and advised upon include:

Employment

  • How do I grow my arts business?
  • How do I get people to buy my product?
  • How can I market efficiently?
  • How do I get support from businesses?

Employability

  • How can I get a job to support my art?
  • What are my skills and qualities?
  • Which ones are businesses looking for?
  • Who do I identify a supporting career path?

Intrigued? Reserve your place today. Or to find out more, see http://padlet.com/TVABC/workshops  or Thames Valley Arts Business Collison #TVABC on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest or contact Tom via arts@bbite.co.uk Tel 07836 205262
