Announcing Here Comes The Sun 2018!

Damien's picture

Our big summer festival will be back again this year for another day of music, arts and fun.

Here Comes The Sun will return for its ninth year on Saturday 11th August. We’ll once again transform the centre into a wonderland of bunting, fairy lights and fake grass, with plenty of food and drink and stuff for the kids, too.

And, of course, we’ll have performances on three stages both inside and out of the centre. In previous years we’ve had bands, duos, singers, classical musicians, poets, comedians and avant garde performing artistes – and we’re looking for acts of all kinds for this year’s festival.

So, if you want to be considered for this year’s line-up, pop an email to programming@risingsun-artscentre.co.uk with the subject line “HCTS 2018” with details of who you are, what you do and what will you bring that no-one else can. Any links to music, videos etc. so we can see/hear you doing what you do will be very handy, too. Our programming team will consider all applications.
