The Sunday Alternative - Bodies

The next Assembly is about bodies!

We'll be exploring movement as a way of creating connection. This isn't a dance class or a gym workout. It's an invitation to try theatrical techniques and simple child-like games, which will help you become more aware of how you move. And by changing that movement, you can influence how you feel about yourself and other people.

We'll be the capable hands of Stuart Moses. There's more about Stuart below.

About The Sunday Alternative

The Sunday Alternative is a SECULAR congregation that celebrates life, meeting once a month in Reading. Members of the Assembly believe in Living Better, Helping Often and Wondering More, for no other reason than to make the most of the one life we know we have. In the company of a lovely diverse bunch of people, the morning is a lively combination of group singing, silly games, interesting words, and cake eating.

  • The Sunday Alternative welcomes all - of all ages and all backgrounds.

  • The Sunday Alternative is free to attend and runs entirely on donations.

  • The best way to meet new people is to come early and enjoy some tea, coffee, homemade cakes and savouries (vegan-friendly).

About Stuart Moses
Stuart has been improvising for nearly 10 years. He has led workshops for the Liverpool Comedy Improv, the British Improv Project and the University of Reading. He is the host of the Improv London podcast.

As we're being extra careful with numbers, please mark your attendance on MeetUp, so we don't disappoint anyone on the day.

Doors open at 10:30 am for teas and chats. The Assembly begins at 11 am and ends at about 12:15 am. Then more coffee and cakes until 1 pm, then to a local pub.
