Join artist Ahmad Alazami and learn about his latest work, in collaboration with the Rising Sun Arts Centre. Working closely with the community, Ahmad has created an artwork with contributions from a variety of community members who were encouraged to creatively explore how the Covid-19 shift from physical to online has impacted them, the impact of Covid and isolation on the sense of community and how they feel about returning to normal.  

The outcome is an abstract artwork made up of several pieces that are combined to create one large art piece. Join us on this webinar where we will be discussing these ideas and showcasing the creative contributions of the community. 

Emerging Voices is a project aimed at creatively engaging community members, involving them in thinking about the benefits of artistic work, and supporting them to bring cultural expression into their space in a way that benefits them. The wider aims of the project are to bring people, communities, and cultures together to celebrate shared values of openness, learning and creativity, to break down barriers between people and enable learning and collaboration.​
