Exhibition: Andre Aghassi - Embodiment of Imagination

Andre Aghassi is an Iranian artist whose work will be featured in an exhibition at the Rising Sun on 8-10 May. Andre is from Isfahan one of the world’s most beautiful cities and which is known for its rich cultural heritage, and its abundance of creative practitioners and crafts people.

Andre's work reflects this heritage, creating three-dimensional pieces with a modernist feel which draw on the traditions of Persian sculpture. Andre has a strong passion for both sculpture and painting. His work is a fusion of surrealism and modernism.

His works are inspired by nature, objects, and living beings, through creating them, he seeks to establish a deeper connection with the world around him. He sees art as a means of expressing emotions and conveying complex concepts.

In this new exhibition, he presents a series of sculptural and relief works inspired by the interaction between human, animal, and abstract forms.
