Douglas Lyell: Paintings

Join us for an exhibition of paintings by Dougla Lyell.

In the words of the man himself:

"My work is a representation of the universal artistic struggle between self expression and commercialism. Up until recently I have ignored the commercial side believing that failure is a badge of honour under a regime such as this. Now I paint in an ironic post- modern mid twentieth century style. I enjoy my work and I can’t imagine doing anything else. I have been working with the video group “Open Mind” and will also be showing some of the videos we’ve been making."
