We're very proud and excited to announce the final list of acts and attractions for this year’s Here Comes The Sun Festival on Saturday 17th August.

Headlining this year’s mammoth tenth year celebrations are Reading icons Adam & Elvis, making a welcome return to the festival after a memorable performance in 2017. They lead a wealth of legacy talent on this year’s bill as we celebrate ten years of the Here Comes The Sun Festival. Expect caustic skiffle and bar room melancholy from Grae J Wall & Los Chicos Muertos, afro jazz fused with tribal beats from Limpopo Groove and a return performance from the festival’s founder as Amy & Her Infernal Gibbons take on Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet.

Making their festival debuts this year are double-bass playing troubadour Grant Sharkey, gravel-voiced Jack Cade and piano-based alt-popper Good Canary. We’ll also see a showcase of performers from our regular Open Page, Open Stage evenings – Philip Adler & Natalie Adams, Neal Noakes, Nick Byard, Alex Harvey, Kathy Tytler and Ian McKenzie.

We’ll once again team up with our friends at Silver Street Studios as several festival acts record live studio sessions to be streamed in the days following the event. We’ve also teamed up with Sherfield Village Brewery to create our very own ale just for the festival. “Beer Comes The Sun” will be available alongside a wide range of food and drink.

On top of all this, we’ll have a treasure hunt for kids where X Marks The Spot and the return of Bob the flint giant who’ll be looking a little different this year! Plus, artwork from local artists will form part of the décor as we transform the centre into a colourful celebration of culture.

It truly promises to be the hottest party of the summer!

Entry is £8 in advance from wegottickets.com/event/463864, or £10 on the door. Free entry for children 14 and under.
