Featuring the return of Big Untidy favourite and modern day troubadour Grant Sharkey, with support from blues man extraordinare Robert Hokum and Reading-based acoustic quartet Wolfnote.

Grant Sharkey brings us two albums and two huge tours per year. He combines bass-playing virtuosity with politcal content and great good humour.

Since picking up a guitar in 1966, West London's Robert Hokum has concentrated on refining his approach to the blues. This has never involves preserving it in aspic and he is happy to take on new ideas. In his spare time (!) he organises and MCs the Ealing Blues Festival.

Wolfnote specialise in folk and Americana with a lovely blend of vocal harmonies.

The Big Untidy Night Out is one of our regular programme events and specialises in bringing new and unusual talent into the Rising Sun Arts Centre. Singers, songwriters, poets, punk outfits, ambient experimentalists, sensational cellists and demonic banjo-players…the possibilities are endless.
